Our team works together across our Salt Lake City, Denver, and Phoenix locations to ensure patients and families receive exceptional support and care.
We are looking for a Hospice Administrative Assistant to join our Denver team and provide centralized administrative and phone support across all three Ovation Hospice locations.
Position Overview
The Hospice Administrative Assistant will serve as an important first point of contact for Ovation Hospice. This position will primarily be responsible for answering and directing incoming calls for our Salt Lake City, Denver, and Phoenix locations, while also providing general administrative and office support for our Denver branch.

Key Responsibilities
Multi-Location Phone Support
  • Answer incoming calls for all three Ovation Hospice locations.
  • Professionally greet patients, families, referral sources, vendors, and community partners.
  • Accurately identify the purpose of each call and route it to the appropriate team member.
  • Take clear and accurate messages and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Recognize time-sensitive or urgent calls and communicate them appropriately.
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and helpful phone presence.

Denver Office Support
  • Provide general administrative support for the Denver office.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming office environment.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
  • Support meetings, team events, and other office needs.
  • Assist the Administrator and leadership team with administrative projects as needed.

Hospice Administrative Support
  • Assist with maintaining organized administrative records and documentation.
  • Support the team with basic administrative tasks related to patient and employee needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, facilities, referral partners, vendors, and employees.
  • Assist other team members as needed to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare, hospice, home health, senior care, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience is a plus.
  • Hospice experience is helpful but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Schedule
Part-Time | Monday-Friday
The position will be based in our Denver office and will provide phone support for all three Ovation Hospice locations.
Compensation
$19-$21 per hour, depending on experience
