Job description

Spang Engineered Solutions has an opening for an Electronic Test Technician at its Phoenix, AZ facility located in the West Valley. This position will be responsible for performing electrical tests as directed by drawings, schematics, and manuals on electrical components and assisting in other mechanical assembly operations.

The major responsibilities of this role include setting up and calibrating test equipment, testing electronic components, comparing instrument readings to specifications, recording and plotting test data, and using tools such as multimeters, inductance bridges, hi-pot meters, and custom equipment. Additional duties include performing visual inspections of components and winding magnetic wire onto plastic bobbins.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent plus 1 – 3 years of relevant experience. An associate degree is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics. Manual dexterity to assemble devices is essential.
