  • Performs unit secretarial and receptionist duties; and also handles basic nursing care tasks under the direction of the RN.

Required Job Specific Competencies:
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills in gathering and disseminating information
  • Demonstrates effective decision making and flexibility in prioritizing assignments
  • Demonstrates effective computer skills and the ability to perform accurate order entry
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills in maintaining the medical record
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform patient care duties under the direction of the RN and within the scope of practice of the PCT

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Word required.
  • One year experience as CNA, Nurse Aide Acute Care, EMT, nursing student, or other comparable experience required.
  • Experience performing phlebotomy and/or EKGs highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Available to work weekends & holidays

Pay Range: $19.94 -$25.00
