Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist for a full-time role, working Monday through Friday from 1pm to 9pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely specimen collection, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring compliance with all laboratory procedures and regulations.


Job Responsibilities
  • Patient Verification: Accurately verify test requisitions by comparing them with nursing station logs and resolving discrepancies with facility personnel.
  • Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures with precision and care while ensuring patient comfort and adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Safe Transportation: Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as instructed by management.
  • Specimen Integrity: Follow department protocols and isolation procedures to maintain sample quality and prevent contamination.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Accurately document collected specimens, including initials, date, and time of collection.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to legal and industry standards.
  • Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to accurately input sample acquisition details.
  • Professionalism & Community Service: Serve as a representative of the organization by maintaining professional conduct, adhering to policies, and ensuring high-quality service.
