Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (Days)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab and EP environment, supporting 20–30 cases per day across a 15-bed unit
  • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including heart catheterizations, coronary and peripheral angioplasties, stent placements, and structural heart repairs (ASD/VSD)
  • Support electrophysiology procedures including EP studies, complex ablations (including A-Fib), pacemaker and ICD placements, TEEs, and cardioversions
  • Manage Impella patient care and assist with lytics, embolizations, tilt table testing, thoracenteses, paracenteses, and tunneled catheter placements
  • Deliver pre- and post-procedural holding care, including patient assessment, preparation, and recovery monitoring
  • Respond to STEMI activations and participate in time-sensitive cardiac interventions as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
  • Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
  • Strong cardiac clinical proficiency required
  • Pre- and post-procedural holding experience required
  • STEMI experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with Philips imaging equipment and Cerner EMR
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
