Job description

The Associate Degree Nursing Faculty member is responsible for delivering competent, evidence-based classroom and clinical instruction in accordance with the college's mission and the Texas Board of Nursing standards. They oversee curriculum development, student assessment, and participation in college and professional activities. This role involves academic advising, committee membership, and active engagement in ongoing professional growth to promote student success and program excellence.

Experience and Other Qualifications Required:

Candidates must hold an unencumbered, current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing. A PhD, DNP or a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN preferred) is required, along with at least 6 graduate semester hours in nursing relevant to the teaching responsibilities. Prior full-time college-level teaching experience, preferably at a community college, is highly desirable.
