Job description

Job Summary:
Chenega MIOS is a company that supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology. The Intermediate Artificial Intelligence Analyst provides scientific, engineering, and technical expertise in AI to support Army technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze, evaluate, revise, and/or generate draft artificial intelligence documentation for Government review and approval, including policy documents, letters of agreement, memoranda of understanding, Mission Needs Statements, Concepts of Operation (ConOps), Operational Requirements Documents, system specifications, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and training documentation.
• Conduct research activities for exploratory and advanced AI projects to advance technological capabilities.
• Evaluate industry, outside agencies, and university technologies for applicability to Army Intelligence AI and adopt technologies as appropriate.
• Develop and evaluate AI and data system requirements to determine technical feasibility and functional adequacy for current and future systems.
• Have a clear understanding of the MLOps pipeline to support an end-to-end workflow that manages the entire lifecycle of machine learning models—from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate emerging technological advances and evolving Army materiel requirements into the execution of technical tasks.
• Maintain direct and continuing technical liaison with Government offices, laboratories, contractors, and academic institutions in the AI technical domain.
• Provide support for studies, technology evaluations, and the development, review, and maintenance of policy, technical, and doctrinal documentation, repositories, and databases.
• Support the planning, management, and execution of representative systems and associated technical activities.
• Participate in conferences, briefings, meetings, working groups, and teams, including the creation and delivery of high-quality briefing materials and tracking of action items.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field and 15+ years of experience OR
• Master’s of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field and 10+ years of experience OR
• PhD of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field and 5+ years of experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI, including feasibility analysis and performance requirements
• Deep understanding of Machine Learning (ML) lifecycle
Preferred:
• AWS Certified AI Practitioner or comparable certification
