Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy department at Riverstone Post Acute in Salina, KS. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our rehabilitation services, enhancing patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence. Responsibilities
  • Assuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective rehabilitation services to patients across our post-acute care facility
  • Leading and managing a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve operational excellence, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance market share
  • Managing budgets, forecasting revenues and expenses, and analyzing productivity and cost metrics
  • Marketing rehabilitation services to physicians and the community to achieve projected volumes and market growth
  • Collaborating with facility departments, clinical staff leadership, and affiliates to ensure an integrated approach to patient care
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Providing leadership support to rehabilitation service directors and therapists through resource allocation, education, and training
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
  • Current licensure in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, COTA, or PTA
  • Proven experience in rehabilitation management, preferably in a post-acute care setting
