Job description

VETS Inc. is seeking experienced professionals to support a U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Disability Evaluation System (DES) support opportunity.

The Senior Policy Analyst is responsible for DES policy analysis, regulatory research, quality assurance, policy development, and recommendations involving DoD, Military Department, and Department of Veterans Affairs requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supervising or overseeing large groups of personnel
  • Experience with quality assurance, policy planning, technical support, and legislative support
  • Experience working with databases, reports, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and records management
  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, public administration, business administration, or related field
  • Active PMP or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing DoD and VA policies and federal regulations
  • Knowledge of DoD Disability Evaluation System activities and regulations
