Many contribute to advancing nursing science through funded research projects, policy development, and scholarly publication. There are also opportunities for consulting, program development, or administrative leadership in universities, hospitals, and public health agencies. As healthcare evolves, PhD-prepared nurses are increasingly needed to shape practice standards, influence policy, and mentor the next generation of nursing professionals.
