  • Perform naval architecture design and analyses involving ship hulls, foundations, superstructures, arrangements, and hull-form characteristics
  • Research, develop, design, and analyze naval architecture elements related to ship stability, hull form, arrangements, and shipyard movement operations
  • Apply advanced naval architecture principles, theories, and concepts
  • Develop analytical approaches and technical methods
  • Solve complex stability and ship movement problems
  • Lead technical integration activities across multiple Navy programs
  • Develop advanced technical concepts and integrate them into shipyard procedures and execution plans
  • Serve as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects and programs
  • Advise management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications
  • Lead and coordinate engineering teams and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
