**Nocturnist opening in NE**
Located in Hastings, NE
Full-Time & Permanent
**About the Position**
Seeking a Nocturnist to join growing hospitalist program.
12 hour shifts, with an average of 15 shifts a month. Average census is 12 patients per day. Consulting staff include Pulmonology/Intensivist physicians, Interventional Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology, and General Surgery.
Interested Internists or Internal Medicine/Peds physicians welcome; board eligible or board certification is required. Competitive salary and benefit package.
-Providing general medical care to hospitalized patients.
-Diagnosing and treating various illnesses and diseases within the hospital setting.
-Examining patients upon admission and coordinating their care throughout their stay.
-Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, lab work, and X-rays.
-Communicating with patients' primary care doctors and following up after discharge.
-Managing inpatient treatment schedules and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
-Maintaining medical records and ensuring accurate documentation of patient care.
-Serving as a point of contact for hospital staff and patients' families.
