As a professional who is committed to continuous improvement, this individual will collaborate with team members to ensure the highest outcomes for students.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited college or university
  • Applicant must be Highly Qualified and Endorsed for this position with a Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate, preferred endorsement in Social Studies (RX), but will also consider CC, CL and CX

Qualified candidates should skillfully demonstrate the following:
  • Knowledge of Michigan and C3 and Common Core Standards
  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson that facilitate student learning, growth, and achievement
  • Ability to demonstrate a whole child approach to teaching
  • In accordance with the district provided curriculum, instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
  • Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
  • Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
  • Understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
  • Collaborative member of Professional Learning Communities
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job duty
