Description:
This position provides an individual with the opportunity to receive professional mentorship and leadership development opportunities while supporting our clients. Candidates will be responsible for supporting researchers in the development and improvement of biopharmaceutical filtration devices. Projects are matched based on the candidate's abilities and current business needs
Compensation: $25.00 - 30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • General laboratory activities and instrumentation including pipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters, autoclaves and analytical balances
  • Lead projects to quantify the performance of filters and chromatographic devices used to purify samples
  • Develop process strategies and data packages to solve problems for biopharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Communicate the results of work to technical colleagues and client stakeholders
  • Author technical publications such as application notes
  • General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance

Requirements:
  • Graduate student completing a PhD in Chemistry
  • Previous related internship preferred
  • Good deductive reasoning and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
  • Able to communicate effectively
