Job description

General Responsibilities: Must maintain and oversee equipment including production machines, and other production related equipment and tools to ensure that they are well maintained and in good operating conditions. This position will be heavily involved in trouble shooting day-to-day issues related to production and project installations. Performing routine maintenance within and around the facility.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Plan and perform preventative scheduled maintenance to maintain production equipment, utility, and tools.
  • Analyze downtimes and implement countermeasure or action plan to prevent from recurrence.
  • Assist production department in maintaining adequate reliability and up-time.
  • Work closely with colleagues to implement continuous improvement throughout the production plant.
  • Assist manufacturing in implementing corrective actions in a timely manner, if associated with equipment modifications or facilities issues.
  • Assist production to improve process, methods, equipment and materials.
  • Control all spare parts to be able to maintain and repair equipment when necessary.
  • Control costs related to maintaining equipment and facility.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 5-15 years related experience and training in industrial process machinery, repairs and installations (certifications, etc.).
  • Basic experience with welding, machining, and fabrication.
