Job Responsibilities

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is currently accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified candidates for adjunct faculty assignments. These positions may be temporary, part-time, and/or on-call, with appointments made either immediately or as departmental needs arise.

This posting is intended to create a pool of candidates for future part-time teaching opportunities and is not for a specific assignment or a full-time faculty position.

Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Exercise Science, Strength and Conditioning, Health, and related disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess a master's or doctoral degree in Exercise Science or a closely related field and have a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Exercise Science, or closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Exercise Science or a closely related field.
  • Previous college-level teaching experience.
