About the Department
Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies is an interdisciplinary, undergraduate unit of Western Washington University, dedicated to assisting students in taking an unusual degree of responsibility for the structure and content of their education specifically in the areas of creative arts and science.

About the Position Fairhaven College maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions. Our Curriculum Committee refers entirely to these applications as openings occur through the academic year for temporary non-tenure track teaching positions on a part-time basis with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.
Faculty should be prepared to teach in a learning community defined by five attributes:
