About the Position
We are searching for an Early Entry Scientist professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelorโs degree in ecology, natural resources, environmental engineering, environmental planning, or a related discipline (MS preferred) and has 0-2 years of related experience. In this position, the successful candidate will serve as a Scientist for environmental field studies, including delineation, sampling, inspection, data analysis, permit preparation, GIS mapping, and technical report writing. The successful candidate will also be mentored by our Ecology Team. Additionally, the role involves supporting proposal development and interfacing with clients when necessary. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to broaden knowledge and deepen skill sets related to environmental science. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and learn easily from others.
Experience and Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in ecology, natural resources, environmental engineering, environmental planning, or a related discipline (required); MS is preferred
0-2 years of related experience in environmental field studies, including stream & wetland delineation, environmental sampling, GPS/GIS activities, and inspection
Proficiency in MS Office, GIS/CAD (required)
Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivate to produce high-quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Must possess a valid driverโs license and proof of insurance
