Job description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a 1099 contract position. This role involves providing about 15 hours per month of clinical oversight and guidance to our therapeutic staff. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for supporting a collaborative and effective care team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Clinical Supervision and Assessments for Mental Health Services Providers and Skills Services Providers, evaluating their ability to use person-centered care, utilize best-practices in interventions, accuracy of assessments, cultural competencies, ethical/professional standards, and so forth.
  • Review and sign off on treatment plans and other documentation as needed.
  • Provide guidance for clinicians in composing treatment plans, safety plans etc.
  • Authorize treatment plans and other documentation as needed.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical interaction policies and procedures.
  • Ensure services provided reflect goals and outcomes as outlined in the agency, state, and other standards of Counseling.
  • Prepare psychosocial educational materials as needed or requested.
  • Provide in-service presentations to staff as needed or requested.
  • Perform short term counseling and crisis intervention as necessary to support staff/consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Qualifications and Education:
  • Must be a licensed provider by means of one of the following:
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as a LCSW
  • Have practiced knowledge of clinical techniques such as, but not limited to: MRT, CBT, DBT, ABA, or other best practice models. Be prepared to ensure that the program utilizes best-practices, including training other clinicians to utilize and reviewing documentation to reflect the best-practice.
  • A knowledge of addictions is preferred but not required.
  • The candidate should have a proven ability to build rapport and work within a team.
  • A proven demonstration in group leadership skills are preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; must have cleared and approved criminal record check; must hold CPR certification and/or instructor, or ability to obtain.
  • Must hold a negative TB test result
  • Must possess a commitment to the belief that all people have the right to dignity, respect, opportunity and full community inclusion.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Must have a philosophy that is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Sky Point.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records and other computer operations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as needed.


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/FUNCTIONS

  • A report of "no findings" when criminal history checks are completed is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, automobile registration and insurance.
  • Confidentiality is required. Any infringement on this stipulation may result in immediate dismissal of employment and termination of service agreement.
  • Review and sign off on the Service Standard Indiana Department of Child Services Counseling.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
