Sr. Manager, Scientific Communications

Our Medical Affairs team is growing and we are currently seeking a Scientific Communications Sr. Manager to join our diverse and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining scientifically accurate, compliant, and audience-appropriate medical content supporting the company's strategy. ย The position is suited to an early-career professional with strong execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex clinical and scientific data into accurate, clear, balanced, and compliant communications.

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Develop and maintain scientific materials such as slide decks, flashcards/infographics, reactive and proactive field resources, social media posts, summaries, FAQs, training tools, standard/custom response letters and other medical communication assets.
  • Support development of HEOR and value communication materials, including AMCP dossier sections, payer evidence decks, pre-approval information exchange resources materials, burden-of-illness summaries, and related access resources.
  • Translate clinical, epidemiologic, and health economic evidence into concise, accurate, and audience-appropriate materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide publication support through literature review, content drafting, data summarization, annotation support, poster or manuscript support materials, and congress pull-through activities as assigned.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality materials on time and in alignment with scientific, medical, legal, and regulatory review requirement

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong scientific writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear communications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy, reference integrity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common review, annotation, and document-management systems and workflows (e.g. Veeva).
  • Strong project management, prioritization, negotiation, and collaboration/ stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, biotech environment.
  • Must have strong business acumen, ability to interface with matrix partners to make trade-off decisions
  • Able to manage vendorsย 

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a scientific, clinical, or healthcare-related discipline preferred (for example PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH, or equivalent)
  • Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical communications, Medical Affairs, HEOR communications, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting scientific content development such as slide decks, training resources, digital content, flashcards/infographics, evidence summaries, or payer-facing materials required.
  • Experience in hypertension, cardio-renal disease, market access, HEOR, or product launch preparation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry standards (e.g., GPP, ICH, PhRMA Code)
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc work or special projects as needed

Travel

  • Domestic travel of up to 20% may be required to support company meetings, cross-functional planning sessions, vendor meetings, training, and other business activities.

This position is eligible for standard Company benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off and 401K, as well as participating in Mineralys incentive plans are contingent on achievement of personal and company performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

US Salary Range:ย  $165,000 - $180,000
