Job Description We are looking for an energetic Full-Time Pharmacy Technician for a retail pharmacy. Data entry experience necessary. We are a fast paced retail pharmacy and customer service is our specialty.

  • Job Requirements (The Pharmacy Technician's primary responsibilities): * Collecting patient information (insurance and personal information as needed) * Entering and processing prescriptions in the computer system * Filling prescriptions * Requesting refills from doctor offices for patients * Ordering medications * Restocking shelves * Answering the phone * Working with insurance companies on approving payment for certain medications * Maintaining the cash register and conducting accounting functions * Must be bilingual
  • (Job Requirements) Education: Graduate from a Pharmacy Technician program accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), received, unrestricted registered as a Pharmacy Technician in a US jurisdiction.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail pharmacy experience.
