Ability to work in various settings: community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, hospital centre (CH), specialized clinic, rehabilitation centre or other health facility. Location: Quebec, Canada (home and partner establishments). Full-time or part-time – Variable shift (day, evening or weekend depending on assignments and availability). Salary: Up to $38/contract plus other benefits (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, accommodation for certain contracts, continuing education plan, etc.). Job description: Asicc-Med is looking for Pharmacy Technician Assistants (PTAs) to support pharmaceutical activities and contribute to the safe delivery of services to users. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, the incumbent participates in the preparation, distribution and control of medications while ensuring compliance with professional, safety and confidentiality standards. Main responsibilities: Receive, process and prepare prescriptions according to established procedures. Enter and update pharmaceutical records. Prepare medications, pill organizers and other pharmaceutical products under the supervision of the pharmacist. Participate in the safe distribution of medications. To manage inventories, orders and receipt of pharmaceutical products. Check expiry dates and ensure stock rotation. Perform the filing and management of pharmaceutical files and documents. Respond to administrative requests and direct customers to the pharmacist when required. Participate in maintaining quality, safety and infection control standards. Use pharmaceutical software and computer systems in accordance with current procedures. Respect the confidentiality rules and the requirements of Law 25. Requirements: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in pharmacy technical assistance or equivalent training. Relevant experience in community or hospital pharmacy (an asset). Good knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology. Knowledge of pharmaceutical management software (an asset). Excellent precision and attention to detail.
