Join Walmart as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the delivery of scalable software solutions through collaborative engineering efforts. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code across multiple languages and platforms, integrating AI/ML components to enhance system capabilities.

You will drive full lifecycle development, ensure technical excellence, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions while promoting innovation, reliability, and performance aligned with Walmart’s strategic objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Guides teams of engineers, including offshore associates, by providing documentation, direction, examples, and timelines.
  • Supports business stakeholders by addressing technical questions, feasibility assessments, and implementation strategies.
  • Manages complex projects from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Translates business requirements into scalable technical solutions and recommends optimal approaches.
  • Troubleshoots production issues through root cause analysis and resolution planning.
  • Collaborates with product, project, business, and UX teams during discovery and design phases.
  • Promotes engineering best practices, continuous improvement, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
