Senior Manager, Pharmacy Program Strategy

Summary The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Programs is a strategic thinker who analyzes market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to develop effective product and program strategies. They work closely with market, sales, operations, and product teams to ensure that new programs and solutions meet the needs of customers, regulatory requirements, and corporate goals. As Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Program Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, design, and execution for complex, multi-account pharmacy programs. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring program resources are deployed and met to achieve cost, performance, and quality objectives for Pharmacy Programs, and collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. GainwellRx is our solution and business platform to support states and Medicaid members across the country for prescription drug related business processes and member experiences. The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Programs will drive development and execution of our Pharmacy programs and services that are enabled by our technology products as part of our GainwellRx offering.

Your role in our mission Work across Rx COE and key pharmacy stakeholders to drive pharmacy business strategy and business development. Overall responsibility of Pharmacy program development, management, and delivery from inception, execution, and evolution, Strategizing, implementing, and maintaining Pharmacy program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Collecting, organizing, and understanding market and client needs to develop and evolve programs and services. Developing program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. Maintaining organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance. Coordinating related programs and projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Taking a broader perspective to ensure the entire program is completed and aligned with the organization's goals.

What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in a pharmacy, PBM, or another related field. Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage budgets and financial performance. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Previous experience with product or program management. Previous Medicaid experience preferred. Strategic planning and implementation Collaboration and stakeholder engagement Regulatory compliance Performance monitoring and improvement Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and negotiation skills to manage programs and develop new business Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills for interacting with and influencing team members, clients, thought leaders, and globally recognized subject matter experts
