Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor / Admissions Nurse to lead and support our nursing team during the PM shift. Position Summary

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day nursing operations during the PM shift. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Patient Care
  • Coordinate and participate in resident care delivery
  • Perform skilled nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care
  • Assist residents in achieving optimal independence and well-being
Admissions & Care Coordination
  • Coordinate and prepare for new admissions
  • Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans
  • Ensure timely lab orders, results, and follow-ups
  • Communicate updates with residents and their families
Staff Supervision & Development
  • Supervise and support LVNs/LPNs, CNAs, and treatment nurses
  • Provide coaching, education, and performance feedback
  • Participate in staff orientation and ongoing training
  • Identify staffing needs and assist with scheduling
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Conduct audits (med carts, charting, infection control practices)
  • Monitor incident reporting and documentation accuracy
  • Participate in surveys and quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee care plans and ensure regulatory compliance
Operational Oversight
  • Conduct rounds and provide shift reports
  • Ensure physician orders are accurate and communicated
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration (therapy, pharmacy, lab)
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with staff
QualificationsRequired
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years nursing experience
  • Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) or other EHR systems
