We are hiring for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at our Fort and Foul Bay location in Victoria, BC.

This role is eligible for an additional $5.00 per hour premium for hours worked.

You will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.

  • Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.

  • Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic.

  • Ensuring the accuracy and performing the final check of a prepared prescription.

  • Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.

  • Performing all necessary duties to support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.

  • Providing excellent, Always Customer First service.

  • Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.

  • Observing and directing Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in the dispensary activities.

  • Performing other duties and assignments as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

You have:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.

  • Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.

Compensation Details:

$24.50 - $31.50
