What You Will Do:

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of an assigned pharmacy area. This role oversees departmental activities, staff development, workflow management, productivity, clinical operations, and performance improvement initiatives. The Supervisor-Pharmacy mayassistwith budget planning, provide operational recommendations to leadership, and ensure departmental goals align with organizationalobjectiveswhilemaintaininghigh standardsof patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Participate in the development and execution of departmental goals,objectives, and operational initiatives.

  • Supervise daily pharmacy operations and adjust staffing resources based on workload and departmental needs.

  • Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy personnel through education, training, and competency validation.

  • Coordinate daily workflow and ensure adherence toestablishedpolicies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor departmental productivity, quality metrics, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Analyze operational data and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality.

  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with leadership, physicians, nursing, and other departments.

  • Assistwith employee scheduling based on patient census, operational needs, andrequiredskill sets.

  • Serve as a clinical and operational resource for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare team members.

  • Perform duties as a licensed pharmacist, including providing pharmaceutical care and ensuring medication safety practices.

  • Support employee performance management activities, including competency assessments, coaching, and developmental planning.

  • Work closely with pharmacy leadership and educators toidentifyand addressstaffeducational needs.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, accreditation standards, pharmacy laws, and organizational policies.

  • Promote a culture of patient safety, employee safety, quality improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
