AtCSI Pharmacy (CSI), we are on a mission to provide Specialty Pharmacy services to patients with chronic and rare illnesses in need of complex care.

CSI is a rapidly growing national Specialty Pharmacy. Whether you work directly with patients or behind the scenes in support of the business and its employees, you will use your expertise, experience, and skills to support our patients and our mission.

Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will perform many pharmacy-related functions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and perform administrative functions of the department thatrequiresprofessional judgment and extensive technical training.

Compensation Range: $20 - $25/hr (DOE)

Location: Windsor, CT

Schedule: (On-site) Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.
  • Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.
  • Orders, receives, andmaintainsinventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security.
  • Helpsmaintainan orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies.
  • Entersdata into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.
  • Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal.
  • Performs general clerical duties for the department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
