Multi-State Licensed Pharmacist

Position Overview: We are looking for a licensed pharmacist who holds active licensure in multiple states, with Texas as the primary location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing top-notch patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with physician orders and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
- Oversee pharmacy operations, including inventory management, compounding, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist licensure in Texas.
- Multi-state licensure, with licenses in additional states preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy practice.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
