Job Summary:
Custom Health is a fully integrated Health-Tech company focused on delivering patient-centric health care as a service. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and improve their cloud-native technology platform, designing and implementing software solutions to enhance patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and implement applications & enhance cloud infrastructure consisting of web apps with front-end UI, APIs, communication channels, back-end services and gateways integrated with other cloud components and DBs. Towards this you will design, code and unit test features and/or core platform components.
โ€ข Work closely with Product management and other technical leaders in implementation of features and functions and deliver ease of use and excellent user experience.
โ€ข Participate in work planning, breaking down modules into small tasks and subtasks in an agile development environment. Contribute and/or lead in process improvements, design, and code reviews.
โ€ข Continually raise the bar and evangelize a high standard. Partner with leaders and peers to identify and take initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in software development with expertise in C# .NET development.
โ€ข Solid understanding of back-end development concepts, including RESTful APIs, database design, microservices architecture, message brokers, debugging methods and tools for microservices.
โ€ข Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (e.g. Tailwind), JavaScript, ReactiveUI library.
โ€ข Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases.
โ€ข Expertise in modern large scale, distributed data architecture, data processing and data stores.
โ€ข Working knowledge of modern architectural design patterns such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM).
โ€ข Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
โ€ข Passion for working with healthcare and building great technology and products with excellent user experience.
โ€ข A self-starter and an excellent problem solver who can work comfortably from big picture to low level details. Strong software lifecycle management skills.
โ€ข A motivated engineer who works with purpose and modesty and respect for all people.
โ€ข Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely.
