Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $65 - $85 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a Fortune 300 pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting enterprise-scale applications for one of the world's leading life sciences organizations. This role is ideal for a seasoned software engineer who enjoys building scalable, cloud-native applications while partnering closely with product and engineering teams to solve complex business challenges. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing modern applications that directly impact critical business initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript
  • Build and enhance scalable REST APIs and cloud-native applications hosted within AWS
  • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces utilizing React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases to support high-performance applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and global development teams in an Agile environment to deliver innovative software solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance application performance, scalability, and user experience
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
  • 10+ years of experience developing applications with Node.js
  • 5+ years of experience building front-end applications with React.js
  • 4+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, Step Functions)
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development practices
  • Proficiency in building and enhancing scalable REST APIs
  • Ability to develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Excellent collaboration skills with product managers, architects, and global development teams
