Job description

Are you a highly motivated Retail Pharmacist looking for a new opportunity? We have the perfect position for you! We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist to join our growing team and provide exceptional patient care in our retail pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing the highest level of service to our patients.

Retail Pharmacist Responsibilities & Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects.
  • Manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary medications.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies to prevent drug interactions.
  • Administer immunizations and other minor healthcare treatments as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of all medications and patient interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on medications and equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.

Retail Pharmacist Qualifications & Skills

  • We prefer Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Valid pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
