TSP Talent Solutions has been retained by a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in severe orphan diseases to recruit a Global Market Access Director/Senior Director.
The Global Market Access Director will lead US pricing, reimbursement, and payer access strategy for the launch the oral liquid suspension of Miglustat, in Gaucher Disease, Niemann-Pick Disease - Type C, Fabry's Disease and Batten Disease, while also shaping and influencing the global pricing and reimbursement (P&R) strategy for Miglustat worldwide.
Based in the US office in Bedminster, NJ, this highly strategic role requires deep expertise in the US payer landscape, strong negotiation capabilities, and the ability to translate US market insights into globally relevant access strategies for a rare pediatric disease with high unmet need.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and execute the US pricing and reimbursement strategy for TX-01, ensuring optimal coverage and access across US payers.
  • Develop and lead US payer value positioning and negotiations, leveraging strong knowledge of US reimbursement pathways.
  • Serve as the US market access strategic lead for launch, working cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
  • Develop and steer the US global pricing and reimbursement strategy for Miglustat, ensuring alignment with the global strategy.
  • Support and advise global and regional teams on pricing governance, access risks, and value positioning in rare diseases.
  • Attend and provide strategic insights to governance meetings, with the aim to influence the strategic plan of Miglustat formulation worldwide, on a short and medium term.

PROFILE
  • Senior, strategic market access leader with proven experience in US payer engagement and negotiations.
  • Experience of 8-10 years in pharma industry and/or consultancy, ideally within rare/orphan diseases.
  • Deep understanding of the US healthcare and reimbursement environment, with the ability to conduct successful negotiations with US payers.
  • Strong ability to influence global P&R strategy based on US market realities.
  • Comfortable operating in a global, matrix organization, middle size, French family-owned company with high visibility and impact.

EDUCATION
  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required
  • Preference for science background
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MPH) preferred

The expected compensation for this position includes a base salary range of $250,000-$280,000, in addition to an annual bonus of 20%, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
