Job description

Job Summary:

The Shipping/Receiving Pharma QA Specialist ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding the receipt, storage, and shipment of pharmaceutical products. This role is responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of products throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Receipt and Inspection

·         Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with regulations.

·         Verify product identity, quantity, and labeling.

·         Conduct sampling and testing as required.

Storage and Distribution:

·         Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) for pharmaceutical products.

·         Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams.

·         Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes.

 Quality Assurance:

·         Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

·         Conduct audits and inspections of shipping and receiving areas.

·         Investigate and resolve quality issues related to shipping and receiving.

Documentation and Compliance

·         Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory.

·         Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, etc.).

·         Manage certifications and licenses.

Collaboration

·         Work closely with logistics, manufacturing, and quality teams.

·         Communicate with suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

·         2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or a related field.

·         Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.

·         Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Certification in quality assurance or a related field (e.g., CQA, CBA).

·          Experience with pharmaceutical logistics and supply chain management.

·          Familiarity with industry-specific software.
