Job Title: Project Manager

Business Unit: : Product Innovation

Location: : Tallahassee, FL or Phoenix, AZ (on-site).

Reports To: : Director of Product Innovation

Role Summary (2-3 sentences on main responsibilities of job)

The Project Manager will be an integral part of the Trulieve Product Innovation department, reporting to the Director of Product Innovation. The right person is a sharp operator who knows how physical products move from concept to shelf and what it takes to keep complex, multimarket launches on track.

You will own the how and when of product programs across Trulieve's active markets. You will manage the processes, timelines, and coordination required to bring approved product decisions to market. This role requires someone who has managed physical product development before, understands manufacturing and supply chain realities, and can hold crossfunctional teams accountable without authority.

Responsibilities
  • Own the project plan for assigned product programs from intake through launch, including timelines, milestones, and crossfunctional dependencies
  • Run Stage Gate reviews for active programs, tracking deliverables at each phase and escalating blockers before they become delays
  • Coordinate across Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, and Retail to keep program workstreams moving in parallel
  • Maintain accurate, uptodate program documentation including launch calendars, milestone trackers, and action logs
  • Identify gaps in launch plans and enforce timelines with supporting teams, knowing when to escalate and when to solve issues directly

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in CPG, food and beverage, consumer electronics, or a comparable physical products environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing products through a structured development process (Stage Gate or equivalent) from brief to launch
  • Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, BOM development, supplier coordination, or contract manufacturing operations
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools; Smartsheets proficiency preferred (Asana, Wrike, or similar acceptable)
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across different timelines without losing grip on the details
  • Clear, direct communicator who writes concise updates, runs efficient meetings, and drives decisions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

PREFERRED

  • Experience in cannabis, specialty pharma, or another regulated consumer goods category
  • Exposure to retail or wholesale channel coordination in multistate or multidoor distribution environments

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • Frequently required to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time.
  • Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position.
  • Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices.
  • Occasionally required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces both in office and within retail locations.
  • Occasionally required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 25lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 25 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE

Standard Monday-Friday office hours may vary based on leader request or business needs.

Travel up to 20% of work schedule to support the needs of the business
