We're providing hiring support for our pharma client located in Foster City, CA for 2 Research Assocaites in the Foster City location.
Job Description
This is a sample management and a logistics role for a Research Associate to join the Analytical Development team. Responsibilities include managing starting materials, in-process samples, and final products receiving from various departments, assisting in cryopreservation, and laboratory data management.
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology or related field required with 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a laboratory.
โ€ข Experience with aseptic technic as well as primary and mammalian cell culture
โ€ข Prior biological sample management experience is a plus.
โ€ข Ability to follow laboratory procedures with attention to detail and successfully execute experiments at the bench;
โ€ข Has a basic understanding of sample collection, processing protocols, and shipping conditions
โ€ข Understands GxP requirements;
โ€ข Previous customer service experience is a plus.
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, and knowledge in statistical programming languages such as R and Python is a plus.
