Monday - Sunday
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Schedule available:
Monday- Thursday (48 hrs)
Friday- Sunday (36 hrs)
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to join our team at a residential apartment complex. This is an unarmed position focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will be dependable, observant, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Observe and monitor activity within and around the apartment complex to identify potential security concerns
Report any incidents, safety hazards, or unusual activities to appropriate supervisors and/or emergency services as needed
Deter misconduct and trespassing through high visibility presence and proactive engagement
Maintain security logs and accurate incident reports
Enforce property rules and policies in a respectful and professional manner
Respond to alarms and emergency situations following established procedures
Provide assistance to residents and guests while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor
Conduct periodic patrols of common areas, exterior entrances, parking lots, and other specified locations
Collaborate with property management and local authorities as required
Qualifications
Previous security or related experience preferred
Valid security officer license or ability to obtain per state requirements (if applicable)
Strong observational and reporting skills
Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a overnight shift schedule
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required
