Job description

Use Your Power for Purpose

The Global Business Operations Associate, Global Workplace Experience (GWE) plays a key role in contributing to the operations in the People Experience GWE team. This role supports various GWE strategies including data insights, technology, colleague engagement, communications, data analysis and workplace programs, and provides light administrative support. This role is responsible for supporting company real estate, facility management and operations, procurement activities, and systems that contribute to business and operations in compliance with company policies. The role requires professional judgement and decision making.

What You Will Achieve

Business & Operations

  • Assist with GWE operational workstreams, including managing deliverables, timelines, and outcomes for recurring operational processes.
  • Maintain and analyze operational dashboards and trackers to summarize trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively monitor deliverables, assess progress against objectives, and read out key areas for corrective actions or escalations as needed.
  • Prepare materials such as presentations, reports, summaries, and communications for leadership and team forums.
  • Assist with purchase order creation and vendor management.
  • Develop analytical summaries, interpret findings, and communicate insights to support leadership and team decisionmaking.
  • Plan and manage operational aspects of GWE initiatives, partnering with crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Coordinate Labor Law governance and processes.
  • Technology and data insights support.

Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist with organizing agendas, meeting materials, and postmeeting followups to support effective decisionmaking.
  • Serve as an operational contributor, exercising judgment to align stakeholders, resolve routine operational issues, and manage dependencies. Partner with extended People Experience (PX), Finance, Procurement, Digital, and vendor teams as appropriate to support GWE initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a professional, serviceoriented mindset in all interactions and help reinforce GWE ways of working.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements to GWE operational processes using analytical reasoning and business judgment. Apply foundational professional skills to optimize processes, tools, and ways of working within GWE.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the GWE organization.
  • Exercise independent judgment within established guidelines to prioritize work, evaluate alternatives, and determine appropriate actions for assigned responsibilities.

Additional Tasks

  • May perform limited administrative activities (e.g., scheduling or meeting coordination) as incidental support to operational and analytical responsibilities. Ensure operational documentation and workflow tools support effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
  • Independently resolve routine operational issues and determine when escalation is required based on impact and risk
  • Maintain shared calendars, distribution lists, trackers, and internal folders to ensure information is current and accessible.
  • Support onboarding, colleague engagement activities, and team communications as needed.

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,000.00 to $123,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
