Collaboration with other environmental scientists, government agencies, and consultants is common, requiring clear communication and teamwork. Adapting to new technology and evolving best practices is essential to providing accurate assessments and effective solutions.

Familiarity with advanced laboratory analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS, and knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., EPA standards) are typically required, alongside certifications in environmental monitoring when applicable. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving regulations help candidates excel in this position. These skills are vital for accurately identifying, analyzing, and mitigating PFAS contamination to protect environmental and public health.

What is a PFAS job?

These jobs are often found in government agencies, environmental consulting firms, and industrial companies dealing with PFAS regulations.
