JOB DESCRIPTION
- FULL TIME

The Registrar Specialist supports the mission of the Registrar's Office and the continued integration of the Ellucian Cloud Modernization by assisting the Registrar Innovation and Compliance team with Banner SaaS maintenance, including maintaining process flow charts and testing updates. The Registrar Specialist also assists with processing any student academic needs and requests. They are also valuable in the support of ongoing transition activities in continuing Ellucian Banner tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Tier 1 troubleshooting of workflow management in Ellucian Intelligent Processes
  • Monitors accuracy of data throughout Cloud Modernization systems
  • Updates and maintains process flow charts with continual changes made in the Cloud Modernization system
  • Provides initial testing and suggestions of changes each update that occurs in the Cloud Modernization systems
  • Processes student requests such as Name/Address changes, Changing from credit to audit, Credit Hour Adjustment, Increase Maximum Hours, Change of Campus, Change of Catalog Year, Change of Major/Concentration & Minor, Virtual Student Status, and other petitions.
  • Coordinates the processing of diplomas including recording in Banner database the mailing date and receipt for delivery.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential student records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Related experience in a university setting is preferred. Knowledge of Ellucian Banner software beneficial.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Position requires accuracy of data entry, critical thinking, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.
  • Maintains compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy and its' procedures.
