Our facility has digital radiograph, in-house laboratory equipment for comprehensive blood screening including urine and Laser therapy. Our Dental and surgical spacious suits have brand new anesthesia monitoring equipment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, well spoken experienced veterinarian Technician to join our growing team. We believe excellent veterinary care starts with people who are passionate about their patients. We are looking for someone who will treat every pet with patience, kindness, and work collaboratively with the entire hospital team.  Veterinary Technician responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with surgeries and procedures, laboratory sample handling and communicating with clients about treatment plans and medical resultswith compassion. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.

  • At least 3 years of Veterinary Technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of animal care, vaccines, medications, and safe handling techniques

Responsibilities 
  • Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history
  • Take vital signs, acquire blood samples and placing IV catheters
  • Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery
  • Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients
  • Keep accurate patient records
  • Animal handling and restraint
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician minimum 3 years
  • Knowledge of animal care vaccines, medicine, and handling
  • Overall Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
  • Patience and a love for animals
  • Salary  ranges from $17.00-$25.00 based on experience.

Schedule
  • This is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week and includes weekend shifts.
