Renaissance Pet Resort & Spa is an award winning, full service pet care facility that has proudly served pets and their families for over 20 years. We are seeking experienced, reliable, and positive Pet Groomers and Bathers to join our professional salon team.

Position Summary
Provide professional grooming and bathing services for both appointment and boarding guests while delivering exceptional customer service to pets and their families. Candidates must be detail oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast paced salon environment.
Schedule
Typical salon shifts are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our facility is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Full time and part time positions available
Saturdays required

Pay is W2 HOURLY plus a BONUS commensurate with experience, skill level, and efficiency.
Client tips are generous.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Shampooing, brushing, drying, hair cutting
 • Nail trimming and dremeling
 • Ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and gland expression
 • Checking pets in and out using computer systems
 • Scheduling grooming appointments
 • Providing excellent customer service to pet parents
 • Inspecting pets for signs of parasites, injury, or illness and reporting concerns to management
 • Maintaining salon cleanliness, safety, and laundry
 • Sanitizing all grooming tools, tubs, cages, and work areas
 • Maintaining dryers and grooming equipment
 • Selling retail items
 • Communicating effectively with team members and management
 • Working independently and as part of a team
 • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
Paid experience as a groomer, stylist, or bather required (or accredited grooming school completion)
• Verifiable references required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Detail oriented and able to multitask
• Calm under pressure with a positive attitude and sense of humor
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes
• Able to lift and assist pets weighing 40–50 pounds
• Willing to ask questions, accept feedback, and follow established policies and procedures
