Role: Pet Resort Supervisor
Job Summary:
As a Pet Resort Supervisor at K-9 Resorts of Wayne, you will bring energy, enthusiasm, and leadership to our team. You must love working with both people and dogs, assisting the General Manager/Assistant Manager in day-to-day operations while overseeing employees in all aspects of the resort. Flexibility and strong customer service skills are essential, as you will fill in wherever needed. Weekend and holiday hours are required.
Pet Resort Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with company goals.
  • Maintain a strong resort culture by following Company Values and Mission.
  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their roles and goals; delegate tasks and expect accountability and feedback.
  • Follow all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
  • Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system.
  • Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing when necessary.
  • Feed/medicate dogs when necessary.
  • Oversee all cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
  • Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member except the owner/General Manager (from cleaning to customer service).
Pet Resort Supervisor Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations.
  • Dependable and responsible.
  • Effective communication skills with all types of people; ability to mediate and problem-solve.
