We are currently seeking a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day servicing for existing personal lines accounts (homeowners, auto, renters, umbrella, etc.), including timely processing of policy changes, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and documentation. Ensure each interaction and transaction is handled with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing clear, informed guidance regarding personal lines insurance matters such as billing questions, claims support, policy coverage explanations, and endorsement requests.
  • Conduct regular, proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps or opportunities for improvement. Educate clients on their options and make tailored recommendations to ensure their policies reflect their evolving needs and lifestyle changes.
  • Identify and document cross-sell opportunities (such as umbrella, life, or inland marine coverage) and collaborate with the sales team to provide warm leads. Support retention by building lasting client relationships based on trust, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with fellow account managers, producers, and leadership to ensure consistency in service standards. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions and policy activity within the agency management system. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with agency protocols and carrier requirements.
  • Comfortably navigate and utilize various technology platforms, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams, agency management systems, multiple carrier portals, and e-signature platforms. Embrace new technology and tools that enhance efficiency and client experience.

Requirements

Must already possess a current NC Property & Casualty Insurance license.

At least 1 year of personal lines insurance experience.

Have a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and be coachable.

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

Must have ability to problem solve.
