Job description

The Dog Daycare Manager oversees the daily operations of a busy dog daycare/boarding facility, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for dogs and clients. This role includes direct involvement in animal care, staff supervision, and client relations. Managing a team of 6-10 employees, the manager coordinates, maintains facility standards, and handles sales/marketing efforts while utilizing commercial pet care software (gingr) to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of 6-10 employees
  • Manage client relations and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Oversee daily animal care with hands-on involvement
  • Maintain facility operations and ensure safety compliance
  • Coordinate scheduling/booking using commercial pet care software (gingr)
  • Control inventory and supplies for smooth functioning
  • Assist in Development and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in animal care with a focus on dogs
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven team leadership abilities
  • Conflict resolution expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in pet care management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
