At DesiLu’s Pet Boutique, we opened our doors to provide a clean, warm, and friendly environment where our neighbors can bring their beloved pets without a worry. Inspired by our unforgettable Maltese muses, Desi and Lucy, we treat every furry guest like royalty.

We are a very busy, high-energy shop known for our top-tier customer service, and we are looking for a dedicated Salon Attendant to join our team immediately. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.


If you are a hard worker who loves dogs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and prides yourself on a professional demeanor, we want to hear from you!


What You’ll Do (The Paw-Prints of the Role):

  • Keep Things Sparkling (Cleaning): Maintain a pristine, uncluttered environment for our guests. This includes bathing/grooming areas and equipment, intake/discharge kennels, and all utility, display, and customer service spaces.
  • Fluff & Fold (Laundry): Keep our operations running smoothly by washing, folding, and distributing towels.
  • Front-Facing Hospitality (Customer Service): Warmly check-in and check-out customers and their pets. You’ll schedule appointments (in person and by phone), process payments, and provide helpful information regarding our premium services.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Glow-Up (Inventory): Track grooming supplies and retail products, preparing accurate resupply lists for our purchase manager.

  • Dog-Savvy: You have verified experience working with dogs that are not your own pets.
  • Cool under Pressure: You can handle a bustling environment, working with all customers and staff in a calm, professional, and mature manner—even when things get busy.
  • A True Team Player: You look sharp, act professionally, and never hesitate to jump in and assist your co-workers without being asked. You are someone who wants to work, loves to stay active, and isn't afraid of hard work!


What We Offer (Compensation & Perks):

  • Competitive Pay: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour (starting range based on experience, maturity, and skill level).
  • Great Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.
  • Health Insurance: Medical coverage through Regence Blue Shield, commencing on the first day of the second month of employment.
