General Summary:
Economy Exterminators is seeking a dedicated Pest Management Professional to provide safe and effective pest management services to residential customers. This role involves promoting the company to customers and strengthening ties with existing and prospective clients. The successful candidate will keep records of service activities and submit reports to management as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide courteous, professional, and customer service-oriented interactions.
  • Inspect, diagnose problems, and render service using approved materials and methods.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize service time and travel productively, aiming for $25k+ per month in production.
  • Prioritize tasks to balance work completion and special needs.
  • Attend all scheduled training and attain pest control certification.
  • Apply pesticides safely and effectively in accordance with label and state regulations.
  • Respond efficiently to unscheduled service requests.
  • Communicate with customers and the company promptly to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of service time, materials, and other required customer information.
  • Maintain care and custody of company vehicle, communication equipment, and other tools, materials, and records.
  • Refer, promote, or sell new services and customers.
  • Continuously funnel leads to the sales department.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Achieve minimum sales generated goal per month.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications - Required:
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license, and safe operator
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legal to work in the U.S.
  • Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Available to work required days and times
  • Free of any illegal drug use; 0 tolerance drug policy

Basic Qualifications - Preferred:
  • 2-year college degree

Required Credentials/Certification(s):
  • Attend state certified tech school within 75 days
  • Obtain and maintain NC Certified Applicator's Certification within 9 months

Required Knowledge:
  • Reading, writing, and speaking English, and basic mathematics
  • Communication technologies such as iPhone, e-mail, web
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks and time
  • Predominant pest pressures and treatment alternatives for pests & termites
  • Assigned territory, customers and their preferences/needs
  • Treatment regulations and safety procedures
  • Computer handheld technology: iPhone, PestPac
