Responsibilities:

As a Pest Control Technician, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be successful in the daily operation of a pest control service route. As a representative of our service team, you will build relationships with our customers, perform pest control related functions, and schedule and run your own route!

You Will

  • Serve as a problem solver for your customers by combining the in-depth training provided and attention to detail to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and practice customer service skills by discussing additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program
  • Follow a route schedule within assigned territory, allow flexibility with customer and weather-related factors and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customers home
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications:

As a Pest Control Technician at Connecticut Pest Elimination, you must possess the following skills/requirements:

  • No Experience Required!
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
  • Valid drivers license

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

You must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodation:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)?
  • Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments
