Pest Control Service Technician
Job description:
Hello future team member,
We're looking to hire one additional Pest Control Service Technician with or without prior experience to service our residual reoccurring service customers throughout the Winter Season and leading into the Spring Season. This role will start as a Part Time offer and may turn into a Full Time offer should the candidate earn and be interested in such an offer.
The ideal candidate is friendly, well spoken, professional, and takes pride in helping other people. This person should be capable of utilizing their own experiences and creativity to determine the most appropriate solution for each customer's unique situation and or utilizing excellent communication between customers and their supervisor to assist in determining the ideal solutions for any given issue you may encounter. Candidates should feel comfortable working both inside and outside of homes or buildings on a wide variety of properties, and will be responsible for ensuring that pest control services are carried out in a safe and efficient manner while abiding by all Chemical Label Laws and Practices. For candidates that do not already have prior Pest Control Experience, training will be provided to you during the initial 30 - 90 day hiring period.
Responsibilities:
Assess and Identify Pest Species and Issues to determine the proper solutions.
Apply pesticides and other products correctly / safely in accordance with Label Laws.
Follow all safety regulations at all times. (most regulations are common sense).
Provide customers with a personal, friendly, professional, and focused experience.
Develop strong relationships with all of your customers.
Maintain a clean company vehicle (inside and out).
Practice safe and responsible driving of company vehicle.
Provide excellent and timely communication with superiors and customers.
Respect company vehicle usage policies. (company vehicles are equipped with GPS and are required to remain parked and unused during off hours and over weekends.
Pay:
We are offering Weekly Pay via direct deposit every week on Friday mornings.
Starting Offer during Training Period: $15 - $17 /hr depending on experience.
There are also daily opportunities to earn commissions and tips from customers by providing good customer service and for setting up or selling new services to both new customers as well as new services to already existing customers (this opportunity comes up quite often).
Company Vehicle Disclaimer:
We will provide a company vehicle after your initial training period and background check / driving record check through our insurance co. You will be able to use and keep this truck for your daily routes which will start and end at your home location. Company vehicles are equipped with GPS and must be returned each day to the location on file with the GPS service as is common practice in our industry.
