Job description

Payne Pest Management is growing and seeking motivated Pest Control Technicians to join our first-class service team. We are looking for dependable professionals who can work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates are customer-focused, communicate effectively, and take pride in delivering outstanding service.

Position Summary

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for identifying, treating, and preventing pest issues for residential and commercial customers. Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Safe application of pesticides to residential and commercial properties
  • Installation and maintenance of rodent bait stations
  • Bird control and cleanup services
  • Gopher and ground squirrel control
  • Bee services, including hive removal, honey extraction, and wall intrusion treatments
  • Inspection and assessment of pest-related concerns
  • Building strong relationships with homeowners, businesses, and property managers

Our technicians receive ongoing training and support while providing exceptional customer service and effective pest management solutions.

Qualifications

A well-qualified applicant will:

  • Hold a California Branch 2 Field Representative or Applicator License
  • Possess a QAL or QAC Category B license (preferred)
  • Maintain a clean driving record (H-6 DMV printout required)
  • Successfully pass a background check, physical examination, and pre-employment drug screening
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
